Oswego Health offers comprehensive cardiac care that includes office visits provided by board-certified cardiologists and physician assistants with specialized cardiac training. Our services include a range of cardiac testing along with programs for those recovering from a cardiac event.
Board-certified cardiologist Thomas Grady Jr., MD, FACC provides comprehensive cardiovascular services to Oswego Hospital patients and community members of the greater Oswego area. Dr. Grady is an accomplished physician in his specialty.
Dr. Grady attended medical school at Tufts University School of Medicine. Following medical school, he served in the U.S. Navy, where he completed his first internship. After his honorable discharge, Dr. Grady completed his internship and residency training at Duke University Medical Center. He fulfilled his fellowship at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the American Heart Association.
Board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine; David Bass, DO, earned his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition, Dr. Bass completed his fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the Nassau University Medical Center.
Dr. Bass has extensive cardiovascular experience throughout New York State, including being a noninvasive cardiologist at Canton Potsdam Hospital. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, diplomate status with the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and diplomate status with the National Board of Echocardiography.
David Downey sees patients in suite 270 of the Oswego Health Services Center. He provides consults to Oswego Hospital patients and offers care to those who arrive in the hospital's emergency department with cardiac issues.
Downey earned his physician assistant degree from Daemen College, located in Amherst, and has been employed by the Oswego Health system for most of his healthcare career.
Michael Carey obtained his bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo, graduating summa cum laude. While attending Oswego High School, Carey was a volunteer at Oswego Hospital, which piqued his interest in pursuing a career in healthcare. He was a member of Le Moyne College's American Academy of PAs National Medical Knowledge Challenge Bowl Team and was honored with the Donald DeMott Outstanding Community Service Award while at Geneseo. This award recognizes a senior student whose college career has been characterized by an unusually strong commitment to volunteer work, and who has made a significant contribution to the efforts of a volunteer organization. He was a volunteer medic for the Geneseo Fire Department, a SUNY Geneseo First Responder and a student driver for the college's SART Program.
Having more than 15 years of diverse experiences, Carrie Marlow provides care at Oswego Health's cardiology department. She is providing care at the Fulton location.
Robert Beaumont, RN, BN, MSN, FNP-C has over twenty years of experience he will bring to the local community, including all aspects of emergency care. He served as a Family Nurse Practitioner for Auburn Community Medical Services in an urgent care setting, CNY Spine and Pain Medicine in Liverpool and NY Spine and Wellness Center in North Syracuse.
